Club League Program
Club League 2017 … from Toronto Beaches Girls Field Lacrosse
Spring is here! Club League is back again and it’s our favourite season to get outside and run around with friends. It is 10 sessions starting at the end of April and finishing before school lets out.
Our weekly Club League Program for , mini’s, U9, U11, and U13 is for all girls to participate, develop skills, and have fun. In addition to skill stations to develop the fundamentals, the girls compete in small games each week designed to maximize ball touches and engagement in the play.
In addition to our Club League we will concurrently offer 2 other programs to help get your daughters out to play.
Our ‘High School Prep’ program is designed for girls in grade 8 and above and our ‘Intro to Lacrosse’ is for newcomers who would like to work on basic skills in small groups before they step into the games. Regardless of your child’s age or skill level, our goal is to have all the girls passing, catching and playing games in a fun-filled setting against their peers ASAP.
Please follow this registration link for sign-up steps. If you have registered before please use that account again. The $190 fee covers the cost of the fields, registration, shirts, pinnies, insurance and the equipment required (nets, cones goalie gear, etc…)

The Club League programs are played rain or shine and cancellation will only occur if there is active lightning in the area. We will use TeamSnap to send emails and texts to communicate cancelations or postponements.
Cherry Beach is a terrific turf facility but it is on the lake and it is often cooler then other parts of the city so please dress children in layers. Parents, we recommend you dress warmly as well. McCowan Fields is a grass facility with lots of space and parking.
- EYE GOGGLES and MOUTHGUARDS are mandatory for all participants. Girls will not be permitted on the field without them.
- Of course also remember to bring sticks, water bottles, cool weather wear and rain wear etc. (we will have loaner sticks available if needed)
- eye goggles and mouthguards can be purchased at local specialty lacrosse stores are: http://hogtownlacrosse.com/ and http://www.laxshack.com/ca/ or many sporting goods retailers (such as Play it Again or some Can Tire).
The girls will wear reversible Beaches Girls Field Lacrosse Pinnies at times throughout the program. They will be worn in addition to the Club shirt for the purpose of identifying sides for the game play. If you have purchased one from a previous year, please bring them with you.
Every girl will receive a Toronto Beaches Lacrosse colourful t-shirt.
Also there is still time and room to register so if you have friends who might be interested please let them know registration will stay open until May 15.
For any questions regarding registration, please contact email@example.com
We are still looking for some parents to come forward to lend a hand. We need help with equipment set up. We need some parents as group/team managers and general helpers. You do not require any knowledge of lacrosse just a desire to lend a hand. If you are interested in helping please send us an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
